About this project
The project will mainly focus on resolving the existing public-private co-ownership on agricultural land between the state and private landowners in the Pelagonija region (majority of which land parcels are under long term lease by the former agro combinat) which prevents full utilization and management of the land in many cases and is causing conflicts between the co-owners, but also prevent private landowners and tenants on state owned land from active farming within the scope of a total area of about 18 000 ha involving about 2 000 landowners that, according to land registration data, are in co-ownership with the state on in total 10 000 ha
