About this project
To mobilize multi-stakeholder partnerships that align private-sector investments with public-sector priorities. Through these synergies, the programme will map and eventually support scalable SIDS Solutions Innovations for pressing challenges such as food safety, supply chain resilience, and access to finance for agri-businesses, particularly for young entrepreneurs. To promote national capacities, the Program will support country-based organizations with a tailored Coaching Programme to increase operational effectiveness in Project management. Finally, the Program will partner with the United Nations University to implement a targeted Capacity Building Program for the Interregional Technical Network (ITN) members to equip them with skills and knowledge applicable to different areas of expertise. These competencies are i) evidence-based problem analysis, ii) communication and advocacy, iii) project formulation, and iv) developing capacity-building strategies.
