About this project

The ILO is supporting the operationalization and implementation of the National Labour Sector Strategy 2025–2027 while advancing the Decent Work and Recovery Programme (DWRP) 2026–2027, which together provide an integrated framework for crisis prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery. The interventions aim to ensure that employment promotion, skills development, enterprise support, social protection, labour market activation, and labour governance measures are aligned with national priorities and coordinated across institutions and partners within the humanitarian–development–peace nexus. Developed in close coordination with tripartite constituents to reflect national needs and priorities, the DWRP positions employment-rich recovery, enterprise resilience, and labour market activation as central pillars of inclusive recovery and longer-term economic stabilization. Through this integrated approach, the ILO seeks to strengthen institutional capacity, enhance policy coherence, and promote resilient recovery pathways grounded in decent work and social justice.
