About this project
A key objective of the programme is to provide an integrated, full project life cycle financing solution at reduced cost to support the successful development, construction and commissioning of RE projects in regions with significant power deficits. • GCF plays a catalytic role for GCF in supporting the implementation of a highly innovative full project life cycle funding solution for RE projects, with significant private sector capital mobilization. • GCF participation underpins a specific focus by CIO on investment in high-impact potential countries. • It supports the demonstration of a novel financing model with significant paradigm shift potential and scope for replication at both country and global levels across other areas of climate finance.
