About this project
The Green Climate Financing Facility for Local Financial Institutions in Latin America is a lending facility that aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Latin America through locally financed and developed climate change projects in the renewable energy, energy efficiency and land use sectors. • The programme aims to enhance access to climate finance for MSMEs in renewable energy, energy efficiency and land use projects in Latin America by supporting LFIs in developing green credit lines and overcoming barriers. • The programme will help local market actors overcome key barriers to climate change project development through a comprehensive technical assistance component.
