About this project
&Green Fund is a blended finance facility aiming to scale up commercial investment in tropical agricultural commodity supply chains while transforming them to no deforestation and socially inclusive at landscape level. • The Fund aims to scale up commercial investment in tropical agricultural commodity supply chains while transforming them to no deforestation and socially inclusive at landscape level, focusing on countries with significant tropical forest under threat from agricultural expansion. • The target sectors are the major supply chains driving deforestation, including livestock, palm oil, soy, rubber, cocoa, and forestry. • GCF participation will mobilize USD 600 million of private sector capital at the fund level and further leverage at the project level, pushing the total capital expected to be mobilized to be even higher.
