About this project
The Project aims to build an additional 22 community-scale solar photovoltaic micro-grids in southern Haiti where currently no grid power exists, providing affordable and reliable access to modern energy services. • The project will build community resilience and demonstrate the use of microgrids as an adaptation measure. • The project is innovative in that it incorporates a battery storage solution, offering 24-hour service and a viable economic alternative to current power sources that involve high levels of emissions and negative environmental impacts.
