Hydro-Agricultural Development Project in Upper Sassandra and Fromager Regions (Phase III)

About this project

The main objective of the project is to contribute to increasing the incomes of actors along the rice value chain and ensure food and nutritional security. It will also contribute to (i) increasing the production of rice, market garden products and fishing products; (ii) improving the transformation and marketing capacities of actors; and (iii) supporting the organization of actors in the project area. More specifically, this project ambitions to develop transformative initiatives that will increase the production and productivity of agriculture (rice, Vegetables etc.), and fishery value chains towards significantly improving the lives and livelihoods of farmer communities in Sassandra and Fromager Regions.
