About this project
The objective of the project is to enhance the resilience of vulnerable Afghan populations by addressing their immediate humanitarian needs of returnees and strengthening durable solutions pathways in the areas of return, through a comprehensive, evidence-informed and data-driven response. IOM is utilizing an area-based, integrated approach, to achieve the project’s objective through two outcomes. This project takes into account the returnee concerns within their areas of return, potential impact of returns on local communities’ resources and services, and opportunities to create an enabling environment for returnees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) to realize their solutions pathways as well as improve living conditions for the affected host communities.
