About this project
Since the outbreak of armed conflict in Sudan in April 2023, Libya has experienced a sustained increase in the arrival of Sudanese nationals. Through this project, IOM is conducting a needs assessment (NA) for Sudanese in Libya to strengthen evidence-based interventions in Libya. The NA is being carried out by the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) and Research Unit at IOM Libya, in close coordination with IOM Libya's medical teams, for whom the assessment can help further tailor programmatic interventions. In doing so, IOM Libya will ensure that humanitarian/development actors have access to evidence-based data and analysis on Sudanese needs in high-density municipalities in Libya.
