About this project
In response to a request from the Green Climate Fund (GCF), this project aims to strengthen safety and security training for its staff, addressing gaps in pre-deployment preparedness. With over 600 missions conducted in the past two years, including assignments in conflict-affected and high-risk regions, and 350-400 staff traveling annually, the need for comprehensive security training has become increasingly evident. This project focuses on equipping GCF personnel with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to manage security threats and safety challenges effectively while traveling. Training workshops on Safe and Secure Approaches in Field Environments (SSAFE) and Individual First Aid Kit 2.0 (IFAK 2.0) will be tailored in consultations with GCF to ensure relevance and applicability.
