About this project
This project is led by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Malaysian civil society organization untitled kompeni. The project seeks to strengthen mutual understanding and social cohesion between Malaysians and migrant and refugee communities. Building on the achievements and lessons learned from the Dari Dapur initiative, it will support dialogue and engagement between communities, enhance the capacity of migrants and refugees to develop inclusive stories, strengthen stakeholders' ability to address hate speech and misinformation, and promote informed, accurate, and values-based media coverage and content creation.
