About this project
The proposed joint programme aims to support the Republic of Moldova in moving from fragmented emergency health assistance towards more sustainable, inclusive and nationally integrated health financing and service delivery arrangements for refugees and other vulnerable foreign populations. The overall goal is to ensure that refugees from Ukraine and other vulnerable foreigners in Moldova have equitable and sustainable access to quality health services provided through the national public healthcare system. Building on established and emerging partnerships across the region, the EU, Italy, and beyond, IOM will work with governments, businesses, civil society, academia, and diaspora organizations to harness diaspora contributions for sustainable development and economic growth in the Western Balkans.
