About this project

This project aims to support the resettlement of approximately 800 refugees in need of international protection to the United Kingdom, offering a safe and dignified pathway towards a durable solution. IOM will provide tailored assistance throughout the resettlement process. In accordance with UK health protocols, beneficiaries will undergo comprehensive health and mental health assessments, and relevant information will be shared with appropriate counterparts to promote continuity of care before and after arrival. IOM will also facilitate visa-processing arrangements, deliver pre-departure orientation to help beneficiaries prepare for life in the UK, and coordinate safe, regular and informed travel. In parallel, the project will work with local authorities and reception partners in the UK to strengthen their preparedness to welcome beneficiaries and respond effectively to their needs. Through this comprehensive approach, the project will promote beneficiaries' well-being, support their transition to life in the UK and contribute to their early and sustainable integration within receiving communities.
