About this project
Through this project, IOM is providing comprehensive resettlement support to those refugees identified by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and accepted by the Government of Japan (GoJ) for resettlement to Japan. The project aims to support a durable solution for refugees, including the sustainable integration of the refugees. IOM is facilitating and providing pre-departure assistance, such as pre-migration health activities, pre-departure orientation and language sessions including integration support into new communities in Japan, facilitating travel document processing, as well as the movement assistance to Japan.
