About this project
Somalia continues to face acute humanitarian needs driven by the combined effects of intensified climate shocks, including recurrent droughts and floods, as well as ongoing conflict and insecurity. These overlapping crises contribute to large-scale, repeated population displacements, eroding household resilience and heightening protection risks for internally displaced persons (IDPs). In this context, the ability to provide timely, coordinated, and predictable emergency shelter assistance remains essential to safeguarding lives and dignity. This project intends to respond to immediate humanitarian shelter needs and improve living conditions of?crisis affected population, through operational support by strengthening the Common Pipeline Program in Somalia, with warehousing and logistical support to ensure timely and accountable delivery of life-saving emergency shelter and non-food item (NFI) assistance to the affected populations.
