About this project
The project “Enhancing Angola’s Access to Climate Finance on Sustainable Transport and Sustainable Landscape (AFOLU) Sectors” is a Green Climate Fund (GCF) Readiness initiative implemented by the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) in partnership with the Ministry of Environment (MINAMB), Angola’s National Designated Authority (NDA) to the GCF. With a total budget of USD 993,966 and a duration of 12 months, the project seeks to strengthen Angola’s institutional, strategic, and technical capacities to access climate finance. The project targets two priority sectors identified in Angola’s NDC—energy (with a focus on e-mobility) and agriculture, forestry, and other land use (AFOLU)—to support low-emission and climate-resilient development.
