About this project
The project seeks the adoption of sustainable strategies in the Colombian financial sector that promote green and climate financing in the real sector. To this end, the government of Colombia, Development Financial Institutions, and the banking sector in general will be supported in adopting sustainable strategies, standards, and climate-related risk management practices and strategies, including physical and transition risks, to increase green finance and sustainable finance flows, contributing to climate change mitigation impacts and Colombia’s NDCs targets.
