About this project

This project provides Complementary Support (Technical Assistance) to the Climate Change Division (CCD) within the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MECC) for their "Time to Act! Implementing the Climate Change Act" programme. The project is designed to fill specific human resource and technical expertise gaps identified by the government to drive the Roadmap's priority actions. This is achieved by embedding a dedicated, full-time Project Manager/Team Leader , a Senior Legal Drafting Associate , and a Finance and Admin Senior Assistant within the CCD. These staff, supported by specialized consultants, will provide the day-to-day capacity needed to develop secondary legislation, guidelines, and reporting mechanisms.
