About this project
GGGI has been an implementing partner of the Regional Pacific NDC Hub since 2018, supporting Phases I to III, with GIZ as the lead partner. Phase III concluded in September 2024, and Phase IV is being implemented from September 2024 to September 2027. The first phase of funding is secured until April 2026, with additional funding expected from July 2026 for a further 18 months. The LOA ends in June 2026. Under Phase IV, GGGI is implementing four country requests in Fiji and Vanuatu to support enhanced NDC ambition, sectoral planning, and investment readiness. These interventions focus on strengthening national climate strategies, developing bankable investment pipelines, and advancing low-emission and climate-resilient development pathways.
