About this project
The GPFS Programme is a five-year regional initiative implemented by GGGI with support from AFD to strengthen Pacific financial systems against climate shocks and mobilize finance for inclusive green growth. The programme focuses on two regional outcomes: (i) strengthening central banks to integrate climate risk and inclusive green finance into policy and supervisory frameworks, and (ii) enhancing the role of national development banks through institutional strengthening of ADFIP. Activities include development of inclusive green finance roadmaps, peer-to-peer learning, regional cooperation concepts, and the re-establishment of ADFIP as a sustainable platform for knowledge sharing and capacity building. Together, these actions aim to reduce economic vulnerability across Pacific SIDS while scaling up green lending. Activities specific to Papua New Guinea are reported separately under PG19
