About this project
A five-year, multi-country initiative in Fiji, Tonga, and Vanuatu to decarbonize domestic maritime transport by delivering (i) national low-carbon maritime transport roadmaps, (ii) an integrated MRV (monitoring, reporting, verification) system for the sector, and (iii) an Alternate Marine Power (AMP) demonstration pilot, alongside an investment pipeline and targeted capacity building for government and private stakeholders. The project budget was framed in the PCP at approximately USD10 million, and in the Grant Arrangement at KRW 13.278 billion. GGGI is the implementing organization.
