About this project

Projet Eau, CLE du Développement Durable Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (ECDD WASH) aims to enhancing access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene, through innovative an approach in rural Burkina Faso. It Focuses on empowering communities to adopt behavior changes using approaches like Community Lead Total Sanitation, WASH in school and health centers and sanitation marketing. In tandem with the behavioral change, ECDD-WASH addresses infrastructure needs, that play a critical role of physical structures in sustaining WASH improvements. Moreover, the project places a strong emphasis on governance, conflict management, and gender equality. By incorporating digital solutions through G50 groups and UMVA platform, the project enhances infrastructure planning, monitoring, and management, reinforcing sustainability efforts regarding climate change challenges.
