About this project

Building on an earlier activity implemented by East West Seed Knowledge Transfer this project focuses on training farmers on effective agricultural practices. Doing so will increase productivity and promote entrepreneurial practices. The project will increase the capacity of almost 40.000 farmers through better seeds and improved farming practices, consequently contributing to better yields and profit. Moreover, this project will position vegetables as an attractive business opportunity for smallholder farmers, thereby catalyzing development of a professional vegetable sector while at the same time facilitating the development of a competitive agri-input market.
