About this project
JCAR will contribute to improved water management practices in Egypt by strategically bridging critical knowledge gaps that currently hinder progress toward a sustainable, inclusive, and climate-resilient water sector. Through systematic knowledge cooperation and evidence generation, the program will equip policymakers, institutions, and practitioners with the insights and tools needed to make informed decisions that address both current water challenges and future uncertainties. This knowledge-driven approach will ensure that water sector development is grounded in robust evidence, responsive to evolving needs, and designed to benefit all segments of Egyptian society, particularly marginalized and vulnerable communities.
