About this project

AgriGRADE Ghana Phase I is a one-year pilot to build a shared, data-driven basis for improving access to finance for farmer organisations serving ‘stepping-up’ farmers in the cocoa and horticulture sectors. Around 1,000 cooperatives and FBOs will be mapped and segmented and combined with a financial and market landscape study. The pilot will deliver an evidence-based Access to Finance strategy for cocoa and horticulture, and strengthen coordination with government and Dutch-supported platforms.
