About this project

The Micro Project Program traditionally implemented by the French Embassy in Port Vila, accredited to Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands, finances small-scale community-led initiatives, which respond directly to the needs and priorities of Vanuatu. The projects are aimed at strengthening local capacity and reliance, promoting social inclusion, supporting economic opportunities and improving access to essential services. For 2026-2027 the Program is presented as a joint NL-FRA program. Both countries jointly support micro-projects in sectors including WASH, agriculture, fisheries and food security, women's empowerment and renewable energy.
