About this project

23-0002202 IOM is seeking to expand its support to vulnerable Afghan nationals in Pakistan and host communities to enhance their living conditions and resilience. This will be achieved through a set of activities centred around facilitating Afghans’ access to services through efforts to mitigate the tensions that might arise with the host community and through efforts targeting both the basic and longer-term needs of targeted populations. Adopting a community-owned approach and a holistic approach to meeting the multiple needs of affected populations, the activities engage humanitarian and development stakeholders, Government of Pakistan (GoP), local authorities, civil society, and beneficiaries themselves. Approaches undertaken in this project will also ensure environmental sustainability throughout.
