About this project

This project will address the issues of women's subordinate status and mitigation of overt and covert forms of GBV. The project will focus on women's fundamental rights, i.e. GBV-freedom from fear and violence; general, sexual, and reproductive health including gender variance, underage marriage, maternal health and planned parenthood; economic empowerment; political empowerment through engagement in social, economic life of the community through leadership roles in public, private, and civic spheres. The project will be implemented in the context of overarching poverty, exacerbate climate change, and a creeping religiosity.
