About this project
IMPACT: 23-0001778 Centralized control in Algeria's media landscape has led to biased and often misinformed reporting on pivotal issues like climate change. Despite Algeria's acute vulnerability to environmental challenges, the media's potential for positive influence remains largely untapped. And an active civil society presents an opportunity for media-driven change. This project aims to enhance freedom of expression in Algeria through capacity building and fostering collaboration between state media, social media influencer, and local CSOs to address relevant socio-economic issues, with an emphasis on the climate crisis.
