バハルダール市の対象地域において、深井戸の掘削や配水管網の拡張、配水池等の建設を通して上水道施設の拡張整備を行うことにより、給水量の増加を図り、もって対象地域での水因性疾患の発症患者数の減少や水汲み労働の軽減に寄与するもの。
