チュニジア南部のガベス県において、既存の下水処理施設に新たに高度下水処理場を整備・併設し、効率的な運営・維持管理を実施することにより、再生水の産業用水としての安定的な活用を図り、もって水資源保全や地域住民に対する安全な飲料水確保を通じた、同国における地域間格差の是正に向けた生活環境の改善に寄与する。
