About this project
ltpgtThis project aims to sustain life-saving trauma, emergency, and critical care services in two key public referral hospitals in Gaza—Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis and Al-Aqsa Hospital in the Middle Area. WHO will procure and delivered essential meds, consumables and equipment to maintain service provision at the intensive care unit of Nasser hospital in Khan Younis, and the emergency department of Al-Aqsa hospital in Deir Al-Balah. Some 80 emergency and critical care staff will also be trained to ensure adequate and quality management of 15,580 patients attending across the two facilities, during the project lifetime.ltbrgtCollectively, these interventions will help mitigate critical service gaps, preserve essential trauma and emergency care capacity, and protect lives during a period of heightened operational risk for Gaza’s health system.ltbrgtlt/pgt
